A word from our former Pastor

Dear Parishioners and Friends at St. Vincent de Paul,

During the summer months, we see a shift in our Mass attendance. The weather heats up and people head north. The work of the Church continues. We are here for you to meet your spiritual and pastoral needs. Our parish mission continues; “Living the Eucharist in loving service.” Our church remains open every day with people in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Daily, the people of our parish proclaim the Word of God in the liturgy and live it out in loving service. Thank you for the interest and support you provide in keeping our parish strong in witness to the work of the Church.

We are a community created by the many volunteer hours generously given by you the people of St. Vincent de Paul parish. Your gifts of time, talent, and treasure give witness to living the Gospel message of the compassion of Jesus toward those in need. Like the disciple we share joyfully in coming together to lend a hand to the many and varied ministries and activities from the very young to the elderly of our community. We hope to engage more of our young families in providing religious formation for their children. A growing number of elderly are homebound and need assistance. Thank you for what you have done in the past and continue to offer in building our future. As Jesus was able to multiply bread to feed the many people who came to him, we also are able to bless and give thanks for the gifts you bring to our parish family. Together we can do wondrous things in giving thanks to God for His many blessings.

Please know that as we celebrate the Eucharist how grateful I am to serve the needs of our parish in creating a community of faith given to “Living the Eucharist in loving service”.
